Push pin art!

I was intrigued to come across this video clip of a portrait made with 15,000 push pins.

The music is the artist's own composition - details are provided at the video's YouTube page. Here's how he produced the image.

Looks like a lot of work! I don't know if I'd have the patience to push in 15,000 pins like that, one at a time . . . not to mention sorting through 50,000 of them to pick out the colors I wanted!

very interesting. Using the push pins like pixels, just larger pixels.
A small magnet would have helped in picking up the spilled pins. I know my thumbs would not be able to do that for long.

Any documentation of his hands (particularly the fingers)? Hehe.

Some people have the strangest interests.

I suspect this is good therapy for him.

Mine is sipping a fine Merlot while watching "Full Metal Jacket" on my 52-inch Flat-screen.

"Me love you long time!!!

The "Me love you long time", is NOT a made up line stone came up with. I heard that line many a time in the city of City of Olongapo in the province of Zambales, Philippines, while I was there during the early 1970's.
stone needs to pay Olongapo some royalties for stealing that line from them.
