The gentleman's guide to the Baja 1000

I had to laugh at this video titled 'The Gentleman's Guide to Racing - BAJA 1000'.  The makers' Facebook page states:

Armed merely with generous amounts of horsepower and good taste, the GGTR will take its audience on a journey into an unfamiliar world inhabited by a dying breed of gentlemen racers.

Have they succeeded in their objective?  Judge for yourself!

(For those who may not know of the Baja 1000, it's an off-road race held every November on the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.  More information here.)

An ecological disaster. Nothing the wind won't blow over. But then, we leave stuff in outer space, too. We pick some interesting places to have fun. :)

Baja is a trip! Did that back in 77, no GPS, no helos, just maps, CB radios, and pre-run notes. The Mexicans were notorious even back then for booby traps and moving the course markers. And yes, it DOES beat you into the ground... And trailbee, we left the place cleaner than we found it, unlike the locals... Just sayin...
