The ATF sinks deeper into its own quagmire

I'm sure readers have been following the Project Gunrunner scandal involving the ATF. We've spoken of it here on many occasions.

Today ATF agents continued to testify before Congress, giving more and more damning information about how thousands of firearms were intentionally allowed to be taken to Mexico to arm criminals there. How many deaths resulted from this policy? No-one knows for sure . . . probably no-one will ever know for sure . . . but I'm willing to bet the body count will be substantial.

What bugs the hell out of me is that the ATF, the Justice Department, and the entire Obama administration are stonewalling Congressional requests for information. They've been caught red-handed, and they can't possibly deny it: so I can only assume that their continued deafening silence is to cover their actions while they try to bury as much evidence as possible, in order to escape possible criminal prosecution. If there's any other possible explanation, I'd love to hear it.

Heads must roll over this . . . very senior heads, if necessary.

Yet another argument against gun control - the ATF is arming dangerous thugs who appear to be free to cross the border at will.

I'l keep mine, thank you very much.
