This cries to heaven for vengeance

If you can read this without anger or disgust, I don't wish to know you.

ISIS militants have publicly executed 19 Yazidi women by burning them alive in Mosul, Iraq, local activists report.

The women were burned to death in iron cages because they refused to have sex with Isis fighters, the Kurdish ARA News agency reported.

“They were punished for refusing to have sex with Isis militants,” Abdullah al-Malla, a local media activist, told the agency.

There's more at the link.

After this latest atrocity, there's no longer any excuse for those who talk a good fight against ISIS/ISIL, but won't actually do anything about it.  Please consider contributing to the 'good' side in that war, which to me is overwhelmingly represented by the Kurds in Iraq and Syria.  (One can choose an organization out of the list provided at the link, or find out more information for oneself.  Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to tell which of the Arab aid organizations in the region are worth supporting - the corruption is endemic.)  One can also donate to international organizations involved in the aid effort, which is the route I've chosen (I'm supporting Doctors Without Borders and World Vision, as I've encountered them both on more than one occasion in the Third World, and I know from personal experience that they do good work).

It's not legal for private US individuals or organizations to provide weapons or materials of war to Kurds, Yazidis or others involved in the fight against ISIL.  However, the US government has done so in the past, and is reported to be doing so again.  If you feel so inclined, write your Congressional representative and Senators to encourage them to support such measures.

One can only pray for those women... They gave their lives for their beliefs. And ISIS are nothing better than animals, deserving to be shot like the rabid dogs they are.

Issue letters of marque and reprisal and the prohibition on individual military aid is reprehensible.

But, you're just Islamophobic. They're just following their religion (of peace).
/Sarcasm off
I'm just being a smarta$$, but you know some will come out and defend these shite heads. (pun partially intentional).
Can someone please explain to me how anyone can defend this crap? Please? Using normal words? I just don't get it.

Mr. Leigh, the prohibition on individual military aid is logical. Maybe wrong, but logical. 300M people. Imagine 1% in favor of, say, Hamas (or AQ, or...). That's a lot of money. Although I hear the Irish found way around that, if it already existed. And, sure, US citizens would react to that if the money came back in anger, but it would still cost the lives of US citizens.

My question is: could city councils send military aid? Because that would be something you could work with. Also, are MOLLE trauma kits allowed?

Take care.

I am all for you sending your money, but nothing in the Middle East is any responsibility of the American tax payer. End all aid to every nation and group in that cesspit, bring all our troops home, put America first again.
